Senior Summit Platform Support Engineer – Financial Services (Summit)

Location: Porto, Portugal — hybrid. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience supporting financial front-office or back-office systems.
• More than 1 year of hands-on SQL experience.
• Experience supporting Summit and Control-M platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments and financial markets and processes.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Additional certifications in system support or finance.
• Further experience in financial markets.

What you will do

• Provide functional and technical support for the Summit platform, including monitoring and issue resolution.
• Analyze logs and system flows to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
• Support functional teams with technical tasks across Control-M, Linux, and SQL.
• Troubleshoot system failures and anomalies to minimize downtime in live environments.
• Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain documentation, share knowledge, and support controlled system upgrades and changes.
