EndPoint Security Subject Matter Expert (Microsoft Security)

What you will do

• Lead deployment, configuration, optimization, and integration of Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Manage application control with ThreatLocker or equivalent platforms, including allowlisting, ringfencing, policy enforcement, and troubleshooting.
• Govern Windows endpoints through Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, GPO, and MECM across on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Support Microsoft Purview capabilities for Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk, and Data Governance.
• Monitor endpoint alerts, investigate incidents, troubleshoot endpoint policies and protection status, and coordinate remediation with SOC, Cloud, Identity, and Infrastructure teams.
• Document configurations and baselines, support operational handover, and contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in endpoint security, Microsoft endpoint platforms, or XDR security operations.
• Strong understanding of endpoint protection, application control, device configuration, identity-driven access, and data protection.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, ThreatLocker or equivalent, Microsoft Intune, GPO, MECM, Entra ID, and Microsoft Purview.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex to advanced endpoint-security initiatives and act as an escalation point.
• Experience in finance, banking, or insurance is highly desirable; production support and business-user interaction are advantageous.

Nice to have

• Nozomi OT or other OT/ICS endpoint-visibility tools.
• Basic PowerShell scripting for policy validation or automation.
