What you will do

• Build and maintain automated ETL and data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Design secure object-storage solutions and searchable archives for regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Create ingestion frameworks for data from decommissioned applications and develop secure search interfaces.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes, including production-ready coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate technical decisions and risks, and support customer handover.
• Deliver solutions within demanding timelines while adapting to changing priorities.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with an object-oriented language such as C# or .NET, and JavaScript UI development.
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines and working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical skills across structured and unstructured data, including data transformation, metadata, and workload management.
• Good understanding of data engineering and ETL concepts.
• Excellent communication skills in English and availability to work in Utrecht, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Ansible Automation Platform and playbook development.
• MSSQL and/or Oracle experience.
• Experience with SIARD, Hitachi Content Platform, HCP, or Solr.
• Background in archiving, compliance, or application decommissioning.
