Azure DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Review the existing Azure and hybrid infrastructure, networking, security setup, and operational gaps.
• Define the target Azure infrastructure, identity, security, governance, and implementation approach.
• Design and improve hybrid networking, including site-to-site VPN, Virtual WAN, hub-and-spoke architectures, Azure Firewall, Bastion, and VNet connectivity.
• Improve identity and access management across Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory.
• Strengthen monitoring, alerting, reliability, backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery practices using existing Defender and Sentinel tooling.
• Build infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code practices while supporting PoC design, estimates, documentation, and technical roadmap planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and production cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Azure and hybrid networking experience, including site-to-site VPN, Virtual WAN or hub-and-spoke architectures, Azure Firewall, and Bastion.
• Experience with Entra ID, on-premises Active Directory, hybrid identity and access management, and cloud infrastructure security.
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with Bicep and/or Terraform, plus infrastructure automation and CI/CD experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, on-premises virtualization, legacy infrastructure, hybrid troubleshooting, and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong English is required.

Nice to have

• Azure architecture or security certifications and SRE experience.
• Experience with Azure-based data platforms, SQL Server administration or migration, and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Experience with legacy ERP infrastructure, regulated environments, GDPR, GxP, SOC 2, or Azure governance models.
• Multi-cloud experience, particularly with GCP.
