Annual base salary: $91,000–$247,000, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments

What you will do

• Own end-to-end verification strategies from test-plan development through tape-out sign-off for multiple concurrent MCU projects.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a global team of more than 20 verification engineers, including resource allocation, performance reviews, and career development.
• Define reusable testbench architectures supporting simulation-based UVM and formal verification flows.
• Drive formal verification, power-aware verification using UPF/CPF, and hardware-software co-verification.
• Collaborate with Architecture, RTL Design, DSP, and Physical Design teams to resolve integration issues and architectural bottlenecks.
• Improve verification efficiency through automation, Python and Perl scripting, and AI-driven verification tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with strong digital design fundamentals.
• 12+ years of SoC verification experience, including at least 5 years in a formal leadership or management role.
• Successful tape-outs of 32-bit microcontrollers and deep knowledge of MCU peripherals such as DMA, timers, ADC/DAC interfaces, and security modules.
• Direct experience verifying SoCs with ARM Cortex-M cores and proprietary RISC-based architectures.
• Expert knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM, plus hands-on formal verification experience with property and connectivity checking using tools such as JasperGold or VC Formal.
• In-depth knowledge of AMBA protocols including AHB, APB, and AXI, along with coverage-driven verification, regression management, assertions, and coverpoints.

Nice to have

• Experience with gate-level simulation, power-aware verification, post-silicon validation, and customer support.
• Experience with analog mixed-mode simulations.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards for automotive MCU applications.
