Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, Platform (AI Robotics)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base salary: $174,400–$237,800 per year, plus a 15% bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement distributed cloud and on-premises systems for developing, sharing, and deploying robotics capabilities.
• Build platform functionality that enables real-world industrial automation solutions.
• Support a developer community creating the next generation of robotic capabilities.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers, roboticists, designers, and technologists.
• Coordinate software development across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience coding in Go, C++, and Python.
• Full-stack development experience across server-side and client-side layers, including TypeScript or JavaScript and modern web frameworks such as Angular.
• Cloud development experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, GCS, Firebase, Spanner, or BigQuery.
• Experience with software design reviews, documentation, testing, version control, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical problems and solutions clearly.

Nice to have

• Understanding of modern industrial robotic automation.
• Experience with ROS.
• Experience in software architecture, interface design, or security engineering.
