Public Affairs Specialist

Location: Lisboa, Portugal. Flexible hybrid work model with 8–10 in-office days per month.

What you’ll do

• Monitor national and European policy developments and industry trends, highlighting emerging risks, opportunities, and relevant positions.
• Prepare summaries, briefings, presentations, and internal updates for senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Support consultation responses, position papers, institutional communications, and responses to information requests.
• Map stakeholders and coordinate meeting preparation, engagement, and follow-up activities.
• Represent hirify.global in industry associations and meetings with external stakeholders.
• Deliver accurate research and briefing materials while contributing to advocacy objectives and policy outcomes.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Law, Political Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in telecommunications and digital policy matters.
• Strong writing, analytical, research, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Experience or willingness to develop expertise in public affairs, regulatory affairs, telecommunications, digital policy, or European affairs.
• English and Portuguese required, spoken and written.
