Location: Hybrid in Lisbon or Dublin, with the role also open to candidates wherever they can be most effective, including China. Travel within China and standard event travel are required.

What you will do

• Research potential speakers, their recent announcements, and business needs to develop targeted pitches.
• Conduct persuasive outreach and maintain momentum throughout long-running discussions.
• Contribute to session concepts, titles, and narrative angles.
• Manage speaker data, confirmation statuses, and complex scheduling for high-profile offices.
• Prepare detailed briefings for VIP pitches and meetings, ensuring speaker goals are understood and supported.
• Travel within China in addition to attending standard hirify.global events.

Requirements

• Native-level Mandarin and fluent English are required.
• Strong writing, presentation, persuasion, and concise professional communication skills.
• Grounded understanding of China’s technology and business ecosystem.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as PR, talent agencies, journalism, events, television, radio, or high-end hospitality.
• Fluency with China-specific research and outreach tools, including WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, and Zhihu.
• Ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently under pressure.
