What you will do

• Drive shift-left performance and resilience engineering across the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated performance and resilience validation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop self-service frameworks, tooling, standards, and guidance for performance, resilience, and chaos testing.
• Define and promote SLOs, observability, capacity planning, and operational readiness practices.
• Collaborate with product, development, platform, architecture, and SRE teams to design scalable and resilient services.
• Help develop an in-house framework used daily by hundreds of engineers.

Requirements

• Software development experience with distributed, high-performing systems.
• Programming experience in at least one of Python, React, Node, Java, or Scala.
• Cloud computing experience with AWS or Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience with observability tools, SLOs, CI/CD implementation, and agile DevOps methods.
• Understanding of non-functional testing and a proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks.
