Subject Matter Expert- Reconciliation

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert, trainer, and consultant for reconciliation teams.
• Ensure reconciliation quality, operational performance, client success, and compliance with SOC 1 standards.
• Advise on system improvements, new tools, procedures, and technology updates in collaboration with product teams.
• Perform back reconciliations across multiple markets and support complex reconciliation processes.
• Mentor colleagues in automation initiatives and handle internal data queues and content expertise.
• Deliver one to two strategic improvement projects annually, applying Lean Six Sigma practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or accounting.
• At least two years of relevant experience reconciling accounts.
• Intermediate knowledge of reconciliation tooling, applications, system capabilities, and end-to-end data flows.
• Advanced understanding of reconciliation data stages and the tools used throughout the process.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, SUMIF, INDEX, and VLOOKUP.
• Strong computer, documentation, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
