AML Associate

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States; office-based Monday–Thursday with remote work available on Friday

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year, plus equity and an annual performance bonus

hirify.global operates a financial services platform with a Regulatory and Compliance team focused on investor and private fund compliance.

What you will do

• Review investor and client AML and KYC documentation, communications, quarterly reporting, and ongoing monitoring.
• Lead the review and approval process for investor AML and KYC matters with a private fund focus.
• Perform third-party reliance testing and monitoring.
• Conduct AML screening reviews and dispositions using vendor tools.
• Collaborate with business lines on new initiatives and provide compliance guidance.
• Assist with responses to regulatory inquiries and audits.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in alternatives, preferably including broker-dealer and registered investment advisor experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, and Cayman Islands Anti-Money Laundering Regulations.
• Knowledge of AML and KYC requirements for private fund investors.
• Experience resolving AML screening alerts with tools such as LexisNexis, World-Check, or ComplyAdvantage.
• Excellent verbal communication, self-motivation, project management, and process development skills.
• Ability to work in the office Monday–Thursday in Salt Lake City, with remote work available on Friday.
