Quality Reporting Specialist (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Apply HEDIS quality measures across Medicare Advantage and commercial health plans to help practices and ACOs receive credit for completed patient services.
• Review electronic and paper ambulatory care charts to identify documentation needed for quality-gap closure.
• Access practices remotely or in person and collaborate with field teams to guide practices through gap closure.
• Submit supporting documentation through payer portals, secure email, or the optimal channel for each practice.
• Coordinate EHR access setup and login management.
• Provide market updates, chart-review feedback, and quality-reporting guidance to field team members.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in quality reporting within a healthcare or health-plan setting.
• Experience with at least one major EHR system, such as athenaHealth or eCW.
• Experience exporting, formatting, and reporting data using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize deadlines, track progress, and escalate performance barriers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and close attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• G Suite proficiency.
• Experience with the Medicare Advantage STARS program and HEDIS measures.
