What you will do
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid search, display, and affiliate campaigns across Japan and Taiwan.
- Manage budgets, bids, pacing, traffic quality, and weekly performance reporting across multiple advertising platforms.
- Drive new subscription sales and support PC OEM trial conversion campaigns through search, display, and affiliate channels.
- Build and optimize paid retargeting flows supporting manual renewal audiences and direct-mail campaigns.
- Collaborate with design, development, organic search, affiliate, renewal sales, and program management teams on landing pages, targeting, localization, and campaign timelines.
- Support ANZ and broader APAC markets alongside the primary Japan and Taiwan responsibilities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience with exposure to Japan and/or Taiwan digital markets.
- Experience managing paid search and/or paid social campaigns; familiarity with Yahoo! Japan Ads, Google Japan, or LINE Ads Platform is valuable.
- Professional English proficiency is required for daily communication, reporting, and collaboration with teams in Sydney, Tokyo, and Manila.
- Solid understanding of SEO, paid and organic channel interaction, and eCommerce or subscription-based products.
- Ability to create reports, identify trends, and present findings clearly.
- Experience with affiliate networks, conversion tracking, tag management, localization, or remote creative and development teams is beneficial.
Nice to have
- Japanese language skills for platform management, ad copy review, and coordination with the Tokyo business team.
- Traditional Chinese or Mandarin language skills for Taiwan campaign management and localization.
- Experience with physical-to-digital conversion flows and software, SaaS, or consumer subscription products.
