Software Engineer, New Grad - Infrastructure

Location: New York, NY; hybrid workplace

Salary: $145,000–$155,000 per year, excluding potential bonuses, benefits, and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Build shared infrastructure supporting the hirify.global Foundry, Gotham, and Apollo platforms.
• Develop backend, developer, frontend, or storage infrastructure for internal engineering teams and end users.
• Improve developer productivity, platform scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Contribute across the product lifecycle, from idea generation and design through execution and rollout.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand problems and design infrastructure solutions.
• Investigate open-source libraries and technologies to debug issues and improve engineering systems.

Requirements

• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, frontend frameworks, and related technical tools.
• Programming experience with Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Ability to write clean, effective code and learn new programming languages quickly.
• Strong communication, collaboration, independent decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Active US security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US security clearance.
