Data Analyst (Payments)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland; requires attendance in the Warsaw office 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Extract, clean, manipulate, analyze, and visualize large volumes of data from multiple sources.
• Design, develop, and implement BI, reporting, and analytical solutions for internal leadership and business units.
• Maintain regular reporting and deliver bespoke analysis highlighting business performance and growth opportunities.
• Translate complex analytics into actionable recommendations through visualization and storytelling.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements, manage requests, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Improve analytical methodologies, provide quality assurance for complex projects, and automate repeatable analysis.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience applying analytical and statistical solutions to business problems.
• Degree or equivalent experience in statistics, mathematics, operational research, computer science, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Understanding of payments and banking, data intelligence, and business intelligence.
• Mandatory high proficiency in SQL for extracting data from multiple sources.
• Strong Excel and BI tools skills, plus intermediate Python for ETL, analysis, and automation.
• Experience with extremely large datasets, datamarts, data relationships, data processing, and Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

• Knowledge of payment network transactional data.
