Analytics Engineer

Location: On-site in Munich, Germany, or Warsaw, Poland

hirify.global builds an AI teammate for Slack and Microsoft Teams that connects to thousands of tools and performs work for companies across finance, marketing, operations, and engineering.

What you will do

• Own the ClickHouse warehouse end to end, including schema design, ingestion, backfills, and performance.
• Build and maintain production pipelines connecting Postgres, Stripe, Slack, advertising platforms, and future data sources.
• Build, maintain, and improve Hex BI dashboards for growth, finance, support, and product teams.
• Analyze retention cohorts, credit and unit economics, channel attribution, churn, and pricing impact.
• Implement monitoring and alerting so the team identifies important metric changes quickly.
• Work with co-founders and company leaders to scope, prioritize, and deliver data initiatives.

Requirements

• Advanced SQL skills and pragmatic experience with complex queries.
• Python experience for ETL and orchestration using dbt, Dagster, Airflow, or similar tools.
• Experience with columnar data warehouses such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience building BI layers from scratch with Hex, Metabase, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Proactive product mindset and ownership of analytics foundations, rather than a ticket-driven approach.
• Ability to work on-site in Munich or Warsaw.

Nice to have

• Early-stage startup experience at a company with fewer than 30 people.
• Familiarity with Stripe and SaaS metrics including MRR, ARR, NDR, and LTV.
• Background in machine learning or forecasting.
• Experience replacing founder-maintained spreadsheets with trusted analytics systems.
