C++ AI/ML Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom; hybrid arrangement with a minimum of three onsite days per week

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML-driven features for hirify.global Wolf Security products.
• Build high-performance C++ components that integrate machine learning models into endpoint security solutions.
• Productionize AI and machine learning algorithms in collaboration with data scientists and security researchers.
• Optimize model inference, performance, scalability, and resource utilization on endpoint devices.
• Develop Python-based data processing, evaluation, and automation tools.
• Contribute to intelligent threat detection, behavioral analysis, anomaly detection, architecture discussions, code reviews, and testing.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in modern C++ development, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning or AI-based software solutions.
• Experience with Python for machine learning workflows, automation, or tooling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and software engineering skills.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and version control systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX Runtime, or similar machine learning frameworks.
• Experience with AI model deployment, optimization, inference, feature engineering, or model evaluation.
• Background in cybersecurity, threat detection, LLMs, Generative AI, or AI-assisted security technologies.
• High-performance, multithreaded, or systems-level C++ development experience.
• Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services, MLOps, Linux, or Windows platform development.
