Security Officer (Aerospace)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; 100% on-site, not remote or hybrid

What you will do

• Manage daily security operations and oversee the security team to protect facilities and employees.
• Administer CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems.
• Supervise the vetting and processing of visitors, contractors, and guests.
• Manage identification badge fulfillment, processing, and accountability.
• Coordinate responses to fire, medical, suspicious-person, and other emergency situations.
• Support facility maintenance, repairs, projects, meetings, and related administrative duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of security industry experience.
• At least 2 years of direct-line security management experience.
• Experience with security system electronics and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid training or certification.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and special events.
• For New Zealand employment, background and nationality checks are required, including eligibility to access ITAR-regulated equipment and data.

Nice to have

• Industrial work experience, preferably in aerospace.
• Experience with hirify.global or another aerospace company.
• Strong integrity, communication, and conflict de-escalation skills.
