Proprietary Trading Intern (New York) – Summer 2027

Location: New York, United States; ten-week onsite program running from June to August 2027

Salary: $25,000 monthly base salary, plus overtime pay and additional bonuses and stipends

What you will do

• Participate in general trading activities and monitor markets and positions.
• Analyze market events and financial market data.
• Use technological platforms to support market analysis.
• Make qualitative trading decisions based on analytical findings.
• Gain exposure to portfolio management strategies, trade construction, and the firm’s process-oriented investment philosophy.

Requirements

• Approach problem solving with curiosity and creative thinking.
• Demonstrate strong analytical ability and the capacity to recognize connections across diverse sources.
• Support arguments with data and quantitative analysis.
• Be able to synthesize information into clear and persuasive messages.
• Be approaching the final year of full-time study; applicants from any field of study are welcome.
• Previous finance experience is not required.
