Senior Data Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain robust batch and streaming pipelines for player, product, and monetisation data.
• Develop scalable, analytics-ready data models with clear ownership and documentation.
• Write production-level SQL and code in Python, Scala, or Java with strong testing and deployment practices.
• Manage orchestration, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code using tools such as Airflow, Jenkins, and Terraform.
• Improve data quality, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency through monitoring and optimisation.
• Partner with Product Managers, Analysts, and Data Scientists while mentoring engineers and applying data governance, privacy, and security practices.

Requirements

• Senior-level Data Engineering experience, ideally 5+ years or equivalent experience working with AWS.
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines with SQL, Python, and distributed processing tools such as Spark.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality, and performance optimisation at scale.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, translate business needs into technical solutions, and mentor other engineers.
