supports Velonetic, which processes insurance premium and claims transactions for the London insurance market and is undergoing a technology transformation.
What you will do
- Define and maintain the enterprise application strategy and roadmap.
- Develop current-state, transition-state, and target-state application architectures.
- Lead application modernisation, rationalisation, and optimisation initiatives.
- Maintain application portfolios, lifecycle roadmaps, and target-state architectures.
- Establish architecture standards, principles, and governance processes.
- Align applications, business capabilities, technology strategy, security, resilience, and regulatory requirements with business and delivery stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience designing and governing enterprise-scale application architectures.
- Strong understanding of application strategy, roadmaps, and portfolio management.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, enterprise applications, and legacy systems.
- Ability to engage and influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting transformation and modernisation programmes.
- Familiarity with TOGAF or a similar architecture framework.

- Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry.
