Customer Application Engineer (.NET, SQL, C#)

Location: Pune, India; hybrid working model with 3 days in the office per week

What you will do

• Manage technical application maintenance for 1–5 customer accounts and act as the dedicated contact for customer administrators.
• Follow up, qualify, and prioritize customer requests while leading weekly prioritization and monthly maintenance meetings.
• Troubleshoot code and SQL issues, optimize queries, and perform application performance tuning.
• Analyze change requests and customer processes, estimate request costs, configure the solution, and reduce unnecessary custom code.
• Prepare and execute application upgrades, including code reviews, parameterization, testing, customer acceptance, production deployment, and anomaly follow-up.
• Train customers and partners, provide product expertise, share customer feedback with R&D, and participate in specification and configuration workshops.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in L3/L4 software product technical support processes.
• Experience developing in an object-oriented language, ideally C#.
• Advanced SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries.
• Experience with technical support and customer management, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with AI tools, including Claude Code.
• Preferred BE/BTech or master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field; procurement experience is an advantage.
