Research Support Officer (Redeployees Only)

Location: Oxford Road, Manchester, UK. Hybrid working is available, with a minimum requirement of two days per week on campus. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK; this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Provide administrative and office-based support to help researchers attract research income.
• Support research activities and externally funded projects across the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.
• Deliver a high-quality research support service to academic and other service users.
• Collaborate with Research Services colleagues and internal stakeholders.
• Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to build positive relationships and influence outcomes constructively.
• Well-developed IT skills.
• Team-oriented approach and strong attention to detail.
• Right to work in the UK is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.
