Technical Lead-Platform Frontend (React)

What you will do

• Own the architecture and evolution of large-scale frontend applications built with React, TypeScript, Redux, and Redux-Saga.
• Design modular, reusable frontend architectures and component or design-system patterns for complex enterprise workflows.
• Lead technical initiatives from architecture and prototyping through implementation, rollout, and continuous improvement.
• Drive standards for state management, API integration, performance, security, accessibility, testing, observability, and reliability.
• Identify performance bottlenecks involving rendering, memory usage, network performance, bundle size, and large-data rendering.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Backend, Platform, QA, and AI/Data teams while mentoring and helping develop frontend engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience designing large-scale frontend applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise with React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, Redux, Redux-Saga, React Hooks, component composition, and rendering behavior.
• Experience with reusable component libraries, design systems, modular architecture, domain-driven frontend design, and micro-frontends.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, event-driven APIs, authentication, authorization, caching, and browser performance optimization.
• Experience building applications with large datasets, complex workflows, real-time updates, and highly interactive interfaces.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions, design and code reviews, technical initiatives, and engineering standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright or equivalent browser automation frameworks, Jest, React Testing Library, Storybook, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience building AI-powered SaaS applications or integrating LLM APIs and AI services into production products.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, tool or function calling, MCP, JSON-driven UI engines, and configurable enterprise platforms.
• Experience with Python or Node.js, AWS or Azure, server-side rendering, streaming, PWAs, or hybrid applications.
