What you will do
- Lead frontend platform initiatives that improve development speed, quality, and consistency across product teams.
- Accelerate the migration from Ember to React through tooling, education, AI-assisted workflows, and engineering guardrails.
- Strengthen the shared design system and establish foundations for generative user interfaces built from trusted components.
- Improve the frontend harness, shared tooling, infrastructure, and delivery pipelines used by engineers and AI agents.
- Turn broad goals into actionable plans, manage delivery, document decisions, and communicate progress.
- Partner with product engineers and solution architects to understand needs, shape the roadmap, and drive adoption.
Requirements
- Senior-level frontend engineering experience with ownership of complex initiatives from planning through delivery.
- Strong professional experience with React and TypeScript.
- Expert fluency with at least one AI development tool, including understanding its limitations and the use of context, workflows, and guardrails.
- Experience with shared tooling, cloud infrastructure, and delivery pipelines beyond application code.
- Strong project-management, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
- Pragmatic, product-minded technical leadership with a focus on frontend quality and adoption.
Nice to have
- Product engineering experience.
- Experience with design systems for reusable product experiences or AI-generated interfaces.
- Experience with large-scale framework migrations.
