What you will do
- Analyze trading data, identify patterns, and produce analysis that supports desk decisions.
- Work directly with traders to prototype ideas, test hypotheses, and iterate on strategies.
- Build scripts, dashboards, and automated workflows for the options market-making desk.
- Frame trading problems to use analytical and AI-enabled tooling effectively.
- Identify operational improvements, data anomalies, and opportunities to refine strategies.
Requirements
- Strong Python skills, including writing, reading, debugging, and reviewing code.
- Solid numerical and analytical skills with statistical reasoning and data interpretation.
- SQL skills or the ability to learn SQL quickly.
- Experience experimenting with AI tools for analysis, coding, or research.
- Interest in financial markets, derivatives, and market mechanics.
- Ability to explain complex findings clearly, test ideas under uncertainty, and take ownership of outcomes.
