TL;DR
C++ Technical Lead (MES and semiconductor equipment software): Designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions for Manufacturing Execution Systems and Equipment Automation with an accent on C/C++, distributed systems, software architecture, and system integration. Focus on leading technical projects, solving complex issues across distributed systems, defining verification strategies, and mentoring engineers.
Location: Chennai, India. Relocation eligible.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software for Manufacturing Execution Systems and Equipment Automation.
- Translate business and system requirements into scalable architectures, detailed designs, and implementation plans.
- Develop documented software using C/C++, C#, .NET, and related technologies.
- Own features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver bug fixes and performance improvements.
- Lead technical projects, participate in architecture and design reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of software development experience in enterprise, industrial automation, MES, manufacturing, or related domains.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking, data structures and algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, IPC, and RPC.
- Experience with software verification and validation, unit and integration testing, documentation, and release procedures.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, influence design decisions, coordinate cross-functional teams, and mentor engineers.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with MES, factory automation, semiconductor equipment software, or industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and source control.
- Understanding of software architecture, system integration, secure coding, and software quality standards.
