What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain simulation-based physics and dynamics models for commercial and government ground vehicles.
• Lead validation of simulated vehicle models against real-world vehicles and data, including directing data collection and designing experiments.
• Develop physics models from limited information and perform validation research.
• Collaborate with platform, systems, safety, and test engineers to ensure accurate vehicle dynamics.
• Support troubleshooting, integration, development, and fixes for automated vehicle-dynamics tests.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, team meetings, sprint planning, and required travel for data collection.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Python, Linux, and C++.
• Expertise in simulated vehicle physics and dynamics programming, preferably with Unreal or a similar game engine.
• Experience validating vehicle physics models against real-world data and designing experiments.
• Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and software troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively in a distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal, CARLA, or dSPACE.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles.
