What you will do

• Develop and train state-of-the-art foundation models and agentic systems.
• Design and execute experiments to optimize realtime inference and model performance.
• Frame research questions, write papers, and ship results directly into production products.
• Collaborate in a flat-structured team to solve ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges.
• Contribute to the development of best-in-class APIs and evaluation loops.

Requirements

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Mountain View, California.
• Strong background in ML/NLP, demonstrated through published research or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with foundation models, RL, reward modeling, or multimodal architectures.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and frame complex research problems independently.
• Bias for shipping research and creating real-world impact.
