SkillBridge Engineering Technician (Autonomous Vehicles)

What you will do

• Support the fabrication of prototype hardware and the development of manufacturing processes.
• Fabricate cable and harness subassemblies and build and install electrical components.
• Integrate hardware designs onto autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Review and redline mechanical and electrical drawing packages and provide feedback on manufacturability and serviceability.
• Develop assembly work instructions and collaborate with product and engineering teams to meet system requirements.

Requirements

• Eligibility for a U.S. DoD SkillBridge program opportunity is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in automotive or industrial repair.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical assembly drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Strong craftsmanship, organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Technical degree or certification in automotive technology, robotics, or a related field.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles or advanced driver-assistance systems.
• Experience using command-line Linux tools for computer and system configuration.
