What you will do
- Manage backlogs for 2β5 engineering squads through prioritisation, refinement, roadmap alignment, dependency identification, and blocker escalation.
- Gather customer feedback, usage data, market research, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions.
- Define and maintain user-centred requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature wireframes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams in mixed sprint and Kanban environments to deliver roadmap priorities on time.
- Track product metrics and KPIs, present team roadmaps, and contribute to product positioning and marketing collateral.
- Support compliance with security standards and regulations in product development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product ownership experience, including at least 3 years in B2B SaaS.
- Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management or workflow tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience facilitating effort and duration estimations using different methods.
- A track record of successful product launches and feature releases.
- Leadership skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
Nice to have
- Cybersecurity market experience, particularly with a SaaS vendor.
- Experience managing R&D workloads alongside conventional software engineering.
- Technical understanding of SDLC tooling, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and security principles.
- Experience working with distributed global teams.
