IT Controls & Compliance Manager (Fintech)

Location: Worldwide; remote work or work from one of the offices. Relocation support is available to Cyprus, Georgia, or Serbia.

hirify.global, formerly Different Technologies, is a fintech company building its IT controls and compliance function ahead of an IPO.

What you will do

• Identify and assess risks in business processes.
• Design and implement IT General Controls and IT Application Controls for the IT component of SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to assess control effectiveness and remediate gaps.
• Support internal and external audits, coordinate evidence collection, and manage findings.
• Develop compliance capabilities across PCI DSS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and related frameworks.
• Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning across multiple operational jurisdictions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT audit, IT risk, IT compliance, or information security.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SOX IT controls, ITGC, and ITAC.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, data management processes, information integrity, and information security fundamentals.
• B2 or higher English for communication with an international team.
• Adaptability, professional judgment, resilience, and the ability to manage complex priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience at a publicly traded or pre-IPO company.
• Experience with regulatory documentation in the financial sector.
• CISA, CRISC, or a similar certification.
