Manufacturing Technician IV (Biomanufacturing)

Location: West Chester, Ohio, United States; onsite night shift from 18:00 to 06:30 on a 2-2-3 schedule

Base pay: $26.00–$40.50 per hour

What you will do

• Lead batch execution and inspection operations on the manufacturing floor, including Tier 1 meetings, task assignments, material monitoring, and production turnover.
• Provide first-line operational support for production and mechanic technicians, resolving setup, equipment, documentation, safety, and quality issues.
• Perform technician activities such as equipment startup and operation, manual packaging, material handling, rework, cleaning, line clearance, and quality inspection.
• Manage batch records and GMP documentation, review records for accuracy, and support batch reconciliation and inventory control using SAP and WES.
• Train and evaluate Inspection Technicians as a certified on-the-job trainer and collaborate with Process Facilitators and Engineers.
• Support 5S, lean problem-solving, OEE tracking, equipment qualification, process validation, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Experience in a pharmaceutical production environment.
• Ability to understand, read, write, communicate, and follow instructions effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work in a changing, demanding production environment, collaborate effectively, and learn new skills.
• Ability to work the required 18:00–06:30 night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule; occasional overtime may be required.
• Work authorization sponsorship, including visa support, is not available.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP, Workday, and Veeva.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment and knowledge of cGMPs and FDA policies and procedures.
