TL;DR
Staff Data Analyst (SQL/Python/AI): Building governed data strategies, ETL pipelines, decision models, and simulations for retail selection, pricing, inventory health, and vendor insights with an accent on data integrity, prompt engineering, and self-service analytics. Focus on automating catalog categorization with LLMs, modeling SKU rationalization and replenishment, and translating complex findings into decisions for retail and supply chain stakeholders.

What you will do
- Lead data strategy and governance projects that improve the quality, depth, and reliability of retail selection data.
- Architect and maintain ETL pipelines integrating market trends, vendor performance, and customer demand signals.
- Use LLMs and prompt engineering to automate catalog categorization, extract insights from unstructured vendor data, and accelerate analytics workflows.
- Own the Retail Team Knowledge Base, including technical documentation, data dictionaries, and business logic.
- Build decision models and simulations for SKU rationalization, automated replenishment, competitive benchmarking, customer retention, and profitability.
- Develop self-service dashboards, onboard business users, communicate findings to executive stakeholders, and mentor analysts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
- Practical experience with prompt engineering and generative AI tools.
- Strong data storytelling skills using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Business-level English fluency required, with the ability to teach and onboard non-technical users.
Nice to have
- Experience with GitHub and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Experience managing internal wikis or structured knowledge bases.
- Background in retail, e-commerce selection management, or demand forecasting.
- Knowledge of statistics and ML techniques such as elasticity modeling and customer segmentation.
