Staff Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Bengaluru, India

What you will do

• Lead data strategy and governance projects that improve selection data quality, depth, and source-of-truth reliability.
• Architect and maintain ETL pipelines integrating market trends, vendor performance, and customer demand signals.
• Use large language models and prompt engineering to automate catalog categorization and extract insights from unstructured vendor data.
• Build and maintain a searchable retail knowledge base with technical documentation, data dictionaries, and business logic.
• Develop decision models and simulations for SKU rationalization, automated replenishment, competitive benchmarking, customer retention, and profitability.
• Present analytical findings to retail and supply chain executives and mentor analysts across the analytics community.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
• Practical experience with prompt engineering and generative AI tools.
• Advanced data storytelling skills using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Business-level English and the ability to teach and onboard non-technical users.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Bengaluru, India.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub and Airflow.
• Experience managing internal wikis or structured knowledge bases.
• Background in retail, e-commerce selection management, or demand forecasting.
• Knowledge of statistics and machine learning techniques such as elasticity modeling and customer segmentation.
