IT Business Analyst VIE F/M/X

Location: Brussels, Belgium; motivated to relocate to Brussels under the VIE programme.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and challenge business requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze and optimize business processes using BPMN, UML, or similar modelling techniques.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing, validate delivered functionality, and support issue resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, monitor project progress, identify risks, and maintain end-to-end traceability.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques, requirements engineering, and functional documentation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, UAT, and functional validation.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar tools, plus knowledge of BPMN or UML.
• Fluent French and English are mandatory, and relocation to Brussels under the VIE programme is expected.

Nice to have

• Exposure to digital transformation, enterprise applications, or system implementation projects.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or data analysis.
