DevSecOps Engineer

hirify.global's engineering organization builds and maintains a cloud-based software platform with security embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

What you will do

• Own software engineering security hygiene across AWS, Kubernetes, CDN/WAF, and other platform technologies.
• Identify, triage, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and security findings.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering to integrate security practices into daily development workflows.
• Expand and maintain security checks and guardrails across CI/CD pipelines and the broader product development lifecycle.
• Monitor evolving cloud security threats, tooling, and best practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, IAM, network security, and cloud security posture management.
• Experience triaging and remediating findings from vulnerability scanners or cloud security tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security into the software development lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical risk into clear priorities for DevOps and Security stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks or container security tooling.
