TL;DR
Senior Security Engineer (Cloud Security/AI): Building and hardening security controls across web applications, AWS infrastructure, endpoints, and CI/CD pipelines with an accent on threat detection, incident response, and enterprise security validation. Focus on designing security tooling, investigating vulnerabilities and incidents, supporting SSO and network integrations, and strengthening compliance across a growing AI conversation intelligence platform.
Location: Remote, aligned with GMT or GMT+1; occasional off-sites and in-person collaboration may be available.

What you will do
- Conduct security assessments, threat hunts, code and log reviews, penetration testing, and continuous monitoring improvements.
- Design, deploy, optimize, and monitor security controls across endpoints, cloud infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with engineering teams on security reviews, guidance, automation, and implementation.
- Lead incident response activities including containment, remediation, forensics, root cause analysis, tabletop exercises, and simulations.
- Support enterprise onboarding through SSO integrations, network allowlisting, security reviews, and customer-facing technical discussions.
- Contribute to vendor risk assessments, regulatory requirements, certifications, security awareness, and strategic security projects.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in cybersecurity, technical security, or solutions engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with security tooling such as EDR, IAM, MDM, SIEM, ZTNA, and vulnerability scanners.
- Working knowledge of networking, Windows/macOS, security protocols, security reporting, and compliance tools.
- Cloud security experience, including AWS.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Bash, or similar programming languages.
- Strong log analysis, threat investigation, incident response, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS security services such as CloudTrail, GuardDuty, WAF, IAM, and Security Hub.
- Enterprise customer onboarding, DAST/SAST, IaC security, Kubernetes, container security, or identity platforms such as Google and Okta.
- Experience with JVM languages, Terraform, CDK, React, GRC tools, audits, or security certifications.
- Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, the EU AI Act, LLMs, or AI security frameworks including ISO 42001.
