Industrialization Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Full-time, on-site position based in Sibiu, Romania; remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement production test equipment for electronics manufacturing.
• Participate in industrialization meetings, order equipment, create documentation, coordinate installations, and hand over equipment and processes to production.
• Ensure process capability and quality targets during product launches and ramp-up phases.
• Support new technologies, Design for Manufacturing activities, design and process reviews, technical problem-solving, and strategic projects.
• Develop technology roadmaps, monitor market trends, evaluate products, and maintain relationships with technology partners.
• Support crisis situations, prepare project quotations, and participate in audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics.
• At least 3 years of experience developing production test systems.
• Advanced English skills required.
• Experience with JTAG, UART, CAN, USB, Automotive Ethernet, CAN/LIN, PXI/DAQ, DMM, SMU, and HiPot/GB systems.
• Knowledge of LabVIEW, TestStand, and C#; Python is listed as optional.
• Knowledge of FMEA, R&R/MSA, 8D, FPY, availability, OEE, and cycle-time metrics.
