Site Reliability Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Own and scale AWS-based cloud infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Build, operate, and improve EKS, Kubernetes, and serverless environments supporting core payment services.
• Design and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for fast and safe deployments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Lead incident response, conduct postmortems, and establish SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, security, compliance, and infrastructure cost, including PostgreSQL on AWS RDS Global Aurora.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Deep infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, Terragrunt, or CloudFormation.
• Production experience with Kubernetes or ECS and CI/CD tools such as GitLab or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of monitoring and observability, including dashboards, visualizations, and alerts.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Ruby; a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
