Security Intelligence Analyst (Cybersecurity): Conducting OSINT investigations and producing actionable intelligence to protect BT Groupβs people, assets, operations, and reputation with an accent on threat assessment, travel risk, and geopolitical analysis. Focus on monitoring threat actors and emerging risks, supporting incident response, and delivering concise intelligence products for senior stakeholders.
Location: Home-based in the UK (England and Wales), with sporadic travel for training and occasional team meetings

What you will do
- Conduct OSINT research and investigations into threats affecting BT people, assets, operations, and reputation.
- Provide protective intelligence support to Executive Security and Travel Risk teams.
- Assess travel risks for executives and employees travelling globally.
- Monitor social media, digital platforms, open sources, activist groups, protest movements, criminal networks, and other threat actors.
- Produce threat assessments, horizon-scanning reports, and actionable intelligence briefings for senior stakeholders.
- Support incident response, collaborative investigations, intelligence-sharing initiatives, and security forums.
Requirements
- Experience conducting Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) investigations.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, investigative, and information-challenging skills.
- Ability to produce concise intelligence reports and executive briefings.
- Knowledge of threat-assessment methodologies, geopolitics, and global risk trends.
- Excellent written communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working with sensitive information.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting executive protection or protective intelligence programmes.
- Experience in travel risk management.
- Knowledge of telecommunications, infrastructure, or retail security threats.
- Experience working with law-enforcement, intelligence, or security functions.
- Intelligence qualification or equivalent professional experience.
