Product Data Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Portugal; remote role

Salary: €36,550–€43,000 gross annual base salary

What you will do

• Define and maintain KPIs and reporting that measure the health and performance of R&D teams and initiatives.
• Write SQL, model reusable datasets, and build reporting and data products that support business decisions.
• Partner with Data Platform and data owners to establish source data and update pipelines when needed.
• Identify opportunities for Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Finance to use R&D data for better outcomes.
• Own metric definitions, documentation, data quality, and stakeholder alignment from discovery through delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an analyst or data role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, messy datasets.
• Systems thinking, including tracing metrics from source systems through transformations to reports.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and establish clear problem statements and next steps.
• Product sense for data, pragmatism, and clear communication about metrics and recommended actions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• Experience using AI for querying, data exploration, transformations, and analysis.
• Experience measuring product or engineering organization performance.
• Experience building internal or customer-facing data products.
• SaaS or B2B software experience.
