Exhibition Director - Arabic Speaker

Tahaluf is a Saudi Arabian B2B live and on-demand events organiser and a joint venture between Informa PLC, SAFCSP, and the Events Investment Fund.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the long-term strategy, positioning, and growth plan for the exhibition.
• Own the event’s commercial and operational performance, including exhibition sales, sponsorship, visitor marketing, conference content, and on-site delivery.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, revenue targets, expenditure, and operating profit.
• Build relationships with government stakeholders, clients, industry associations, business leaders, partners, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and the Commercial Director to strengthen sales performance and portfolio strategy.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a motivated, high-performing team.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading large-scale B2B exhibitions with commercially successful results.
• Experience as an Exhibition Director or in a comparable leadership role with full commercial and operational responsibility.
• Strong strategic planning, commercial, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and P&L management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, networking, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Arabic language proficiency in spoken and written form is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working in the Middle East.
• Experience in safety, security, fire protection, emergency management, or chemical resilience.
