Data Engineer (Energy)

What you will do

• Build and optimize data products to connect and orchestrate decentralized energy resources.
• Design and implement scalable clustering and forecasting workflows for complex time-series data.
• Deliver precise evaluations and predictions to support wholesale energy market trading.
• Ensure system reliability and stability through active monitoring and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality solutions for renewable energy systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in Germany or willing to relocate.
• Proven track record of delivering production-grade data solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Polars, and Pandas.
• Advanced SQL skills, with experience in ClickHouse preferred.
• Practical experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience with MLOps tools such as Metaflow, Argo, or MLflow.

Nice to have

• Experience with Grafana for observability and alerting.
• Deep understanding of time-series data structural challenges.
