Senior Software Engineer (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Deliver new product functionality, customer-requested enhancements, and bug fixes using the Salesforce Force.com platform.
• Build modular, reusable, scalable solutions with Apex, Lightning Web Components, React, and modern JavaScript.
• Translate customer and business requirements into technical architecture and collaborate with customers, product managers, and engineering teams.
• Write clean code, unit tests, and robust integrations while applying design patterns, BDD/TDD, and quality-focused development practices.
• Identify technical debt, optimize owned areas, and contribute to deployment, code reviews, and agile team processes.
• Lead delivery activities, mentor junior developers, support customer issue resolution, and drive engineering efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong object-oriented programming and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience or familiarity with Salesforce Platform, Apex, and Lightning Web Components; Salesforce experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript, React or LWC unit testing, Git, and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, estimate implementation effort, and balance delivery speed with quality.
• Ability to participate in agile ceremonies, perform code reviews, write unit tests, and thoroughly test code before QA handoff.
• Ability to work on-site in Bangalore, India.

Nice to have

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or Lightning Web Component Specialist.
• Java programming experience applicable to Apex development.
• Interest or experience in leading delivery teams, training, mentoring, and issue resolution.
