AI Trainer (Computer Vision)

Location: Remote - Canada

Salary: $150,000–$250,000

What you will do

• Characterize neural network quality, failure modes, and edge cases using research data.
• Manage a large number of concurrent experiments while meeting strict deadlines.
• Coordinate with researchers and provide accurate status updates on experimental progress.
• Review experimental results and suggest theoretical or process improvements.
• Write technical reports detailing qualitative and quantitative findings for external parties.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong introspection and thoughtfulness.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a related field or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading research papers and implementing described techniques.
• Background in computer vision and deep learning.
