What you will do
- Onboard and train teleoperation operators on task execution, data quality, reporting, and consistent operating standards.
- Monitor operator performance and demonstration data quality across active projects.
- Establish QA processes and oversee data custody, tracking, reporting, issue investigation, and quality metrics.
- Create and maintain SOPs, training materials, quality frameworks, operational trackers, and documentation.
- Bridge operations and engineering teams by translating operator feedback and engineering guidance into actionable instructions.
- Maintain direct proficiency with robotic systems and teleoperation interfaces, including VR, joysticks, and control rigs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in training, QA, operations coordination, or a technical environment.
- Experience in a structured, process-driven, or fast-paced operational setting.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to assess quality rigorously and coach others toward consistent performance.
- Comfort with digital tools, interfaces, and data-driven workflows, plus a basic technical understanding for collaboration with engineering teams.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Germany.
Nice to have
- Experience with teleoperation systems, simulation environments, or robotics platforms.
- Familiarity with imitation learning and demonstration data used for robot policy training.
- Experience in competitive gaming, esports, precision controller-based tasks, VR systems, data annotation, QA, or structured data collection pipelines.
- Experience in a startup environment.
