Quality Specialist (Spatial AI)

Salary: $45,000–$65,000 USD per year plus equity

What you will do

• Curate and maintain golden datasets and ground-truth benchmarks for annotator certification, vendor scoring, and pipeline drift measurement.
• Create and update training materials and certification tests measuring annotation precision and speed.
• Evaluate annotators against benchmark data, monitor quality drift, and support QA metrics and scoring models.
• Conduct double-blind quality audits across computer-vision datasets.
• Handle critical production labeling needs as a high-trust annotator.
• Collaborate with Computer Vision and Data Operations teams to define and improve the quality pipeline.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data annotation and quality assurance, including reviewing and calibrating other annotators’ work.
• Experience with Encord or an equivalent enterprise annotation platform such as CVAT, Labelbox, or SuperAnnotate.
• Experience with complex 2D and 3D annotation, including bounding boxes, polygons, and masks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and judgment when identifying and adjudicating out-of-stock products and edge cases in large video datasets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting standards and justifying quality decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
