Principal Robotics Engineer - Innovation (Electrical/Sensors)

Salary: $116,500–$166,500 per year

What you will do

• Develop, fabricate, and evaluate rapid prototypes for future robotic products.
• Lead innovation initiatives through subject-matter guidance, system design, and robotic solution development.
• Research technologies, algorithms, and solutions across hardware, software, navigation, and system architecture.
• Develop and validate concepts in agile, cross-functional teams from early research through productization.
• Analyze complex systems, solve technical problems, and balance engineering trade-offs.
• Create documentation for scaled implementation and drive technical alignment across disciplines.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Robotics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Experience with robotics solutions, including sensor selection and implementation, system design, and electromechanical integration.
• Experience developing and testing full-stack robotic systems.
• Ability to analyze and debug large, complex systems and work effectively on ambiguous R&D problems.
• Strong self-motivation, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently across time zones.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience collaborating with China-based teams.
• Mandarin language proficiency.
