Validator Engineer (Web3)

Location: Fully remote and/or hybrid, at the candidate’s discretion

hirify.global is building a sovereign execution layer for AI and a blockchain designed for AI-native applications across crypto and artificial intelligence.

What you will do

• Build and automate bare-metal and cloud deployments for hirify.global validators using the existing simulation framework.
• Orchestrate client upgrades, parameter changes, and hard forks across staging and mainnet without downtime.
• Profile and patch critical paths in execution and consensus clients to improve performance.
• Maintain validator uptime, snapshots, synchronization performance, and operational reliability.
• Write runbooks and documentation while supporting validator operators through Discord.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience operating high-availability distributed systems, including direct experience running PoS validators on EVM-based chains.
• Proficiency in Go and Rust, with the ability to read, debug, and extend Execution Layer and Consensus Layer client code.
• Strong understanding of fork choice, evidence handling, slashing conditions, and state sync.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD workflows, including container builds and canary deployments.
• Advanced Linux knowledge, deep networking expertise, and a strong focus on system hardening and security.
• Experience using logs, metrics, and traces for operational decision-making.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting external validator operators, maintaining snapshots, and answering integration questions during network launches.
• Upstream contributions to execution and consensus clients.
• Experience orchestrating GPU workloads or other compute-intensive pipelines.
• Familiarity with deploying and tuning open-source AI models.
• Experience working with infrastructure partners, custodians, or auditors in high-uptime environments.
