Hardware Platform Product Manager (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Nexthop hardware platforms and support internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering, customer engineering, marketing, and account management teams to drive product adoption and go-to-market execution.
• Develop product collateral and communicate product roadmaps with customer executives, engineering teams, and operations leaders.
• Identify and prioritize feature requirements while balancing stakeholder needs and delivery expectations.
• Work with technology partners on long-term product planning and short- to mid-term issue resolution.
• Analyze competing systems, manage portfolio risks, and support product launches, industry events, and conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience as a product manager or technical marketing engineer in networking technologies.
• Experience with switching and routing hardware systems, silicon, optics, and interconnects.
• Significant experience with network architectures for hyperscaler, cloud, HPC, and AI/ML environments.
• Strong independent problem-solving, initiative, learning ability, and customer empathy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Five to seven years of experience as a hardware engineer.
